Our client, a trainee nurse at the time, was involved in a motorcycle accident when an oncoming car made a right turn across her path when she had right of way.
As a result of the accident, she suffered multiple injuries, including spinal injuries, a head injury, fractures to her shoulder, rib, and upper leg and lower leg injuries so severe that she required a below-knee amputation. Extensive surgery, medical treatment and rehabilitation was necessary and she was left with a significant, permanent disability.
