Scooter Accident Caused by Sewage Leaking From Manhole

A man who suffered leg and arm injuries in a motorcycle accident, caused by a leaking manhole cover, was assisted by our expert lawyers in recovering compensation.
Road Accident
Our client was riding his scooter along a road in dry weather, when the wheels went through some liquid leaking from a manhole cover, causing it to skid. He was thrown from the scooter and suffered injuries to his shoulder, wrist, ankle, knees and thigh. After the accident, some of the liquid was on his clothes and it smelled of sewage.
Passers-by came to assist him and he sought medical attention in respect of his injuries. It took some time for the injuries to heal and our client had to take time off from work to recover. After the accident he no longer felt confident to ride his scooter, even though he had many years of previous experience.
